A Side Note About Sports

This is just me being bratty but I think watching sports is silly. Have you ever watched fishing? Have you ever watched it on television? Mmmkay, that's what I'm tryin' to say. I'd rather be playing than watching. I'd rather be fishing than watching someone fish. I'm confused by the idolization of a specific player. I'm also confused about the amount these guys make in sports. The amount of coverage on them on television is wild and equal to crimes and murders. That's me, though. I know nothing about statistics nor am I an expert on these things. But, I do know when I turn on the T.V. . . .  sports, weather or some sort of murder. Once in a while there's a kid with a lemon stand. Do we have nothing to say about Science? Nothing at all? Occasionally, we'll hear about some meteor shower. I get sad about that. I think it's fabulous that there's a kid at the corner selling lemon juice, sugar, and water. But, there's a kid out there somewhere grinding a mirror to make a telescope bigger than they are. Sigh . . . the world is upside down sometimes.
