Dragonfly Shadowbox Part 3 of 3

I don't know how many times my dragonfly had been destroyed. My cell phone dropped on it, a poster fell on it, and more.

But, here it is! Phew. I thought this thing would never get finished.

One of the things that was troublesome was finding the right frame for it. Between that first post and just a few days ago I struggled with the original shadowbox I had. The original shadow box I had was lined with some type of fabric. The problem with the fabric was that the claws of the dragonfly would hook on and when I lifted to re-position the insect it would break off.

I found this glass box and it was PERFECT. If you are interested in doing something similar, check out The Bone Room. I don't know if they sell they type of box I have (and apparently I've been spelling shadowbox wrong--it's shadow box), but they have shadow boxes.
